    2021 Omidyar Family 501(c)(4) Disclosures

    April 6, 2022

Driven by the values of transparency and accountability, Pierre and Pam Omidyar have committed to annually disclosing their personal contributions to organizations that might influence, impact, or directly intersect with fundamental matters of democracy and public policy in the United States.

In a year that began with the violent attack on the U.S. Capitol—and continued with the widespread passing of restrictive voting laws that disproportionally impact communities of color—the need to protect and strengthen the fundamental pillars of democracy was demonstrated in shocking detail throughout the nation.

Personal 501(c)(4) contributions made by the Omidyars in 2021 largely supported organizations and initiatives working to safeguard the future and promise of an inclusive, multiracial American democracy. Through research, advocacy, and action, these respective efforts aim to ensure that people can vote safely, receive accurate information about the process, and wade through mis- and disinformation about elections, candidates, and other vital institutions.

Please see the list immediately below for the Omidyars’ 2021 501(c)(4) contributions. An archive of previous disclosures can be found here.
